Life in Texas

 I am Sara Miller.  I am married to John Robert Thomson Jr.  John and I are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  We do not currently have children, but we are trying to get pregnant at this time.  We recently closed on our first house on March 20, 2026.  We are grateful to have been able to find a home close to where John's parents live - we live about 20 minutes away from them. We have two puppies - Ava and Uno.  Ava has been with us since 2018 (one year after we were married), and Uno found us in 2020. John works as a Financial Director for the Town of Northlake, and I work as a nurse, working night shift in the Heart and Vascular step-down unit in Medical City Denton. This is my first job as a nurse, and at the moment I am content to stay, mostly for the insurance and maternity leave that I have earned by staying with the company thus far.  I freaking love the fact that I can work around 40 hours a week while only workin...
